DVD / CD Drives

My computer (Dimension 2350) is not finding my CD drive or DVD drive. I am running XP and when I go through the device manager to locate the drives, the drives are there but an error reads:  Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device (Code 41).
Can anyone help???

This link may help you with the Code 41 problem.  There are a couple of things that could cause it. If not, suggest you repost on the CD/DVD section - the forum section for CD/DVD problems.
