How To EMAIL From My Documents

I am trying to EMAIL a document from MY DOCUMENTS.  When I highlight the file and go to the LEFT COLUMN and click EMAIL THIS FILE, my MSN Dell/Net comes up.
 
I am no longer using Dell/Net.  I have a local server using DSL.  Can I change this to where it goes to my email program?
 
Would appreciate HELP on how to do this?  I have an important file an individual is waiting on.

    I am not sure this will work, but you could try going into:

    Start---Control panel--internet options--- Programs(tab)

    Email. In the drop-down list, choose your email program. (The one you want to use)

    Click OK.

    Hope this helps. Or set your email program as the default in options.

    But I don't know how to configure local servers, so if you need help with that, someone else should be able to help you.
