I'm running windows xp 2000 on a dell. I have the automatic updates feature operating and I have a new update downloaded,(It may be a service pack.)
My problem is when I install the update my email goes from outlook express to microsoft outlook. I don't like the format for outlook and want to keep outlook express. Does anyone know how I can install the update and keep outlook express? It keeps buggin me to install the update.
Thanks in advance for any help. I ve been fightin with this thing for a week and just can't get it. :smileymad:
Peace Man!

Outlook express is still there, look in your program group and right click and drag to the desktop, and select "create shortcut here". You must have updated microsoft office maybe? Office updates (usually a office service pack) sometimes sets Outlook as the default mail client, and removes the OE shortcuts and replaces them with Outlook shortcuts.
