Recently I downloaded lots of Windows updates that were overdue, starting with Service Pack 2. Then I installed Norton Internet Security (Firewall + Antivirus)2005 to replace an older version. Now I cannot connect to the internet with Internet Explorer. The open window just gives a non-connection error message. I -can- connect with Mozilla Firefox. I need both browsers, and I certainly need IE. When I turn off the NIS program, then IE connects, so that's got to be it. Please let me know what to do ( in easy step-by-step language). (I wasn't able to find an answer in NIS or the Symantec website.) Thanks.
