I had some trouble with my computer last week, but had thought I had all fix (ha! as if that is possible with Windows) I have been using the computer now and IE for two days. Now I have trouble with IE connecting fulling to a web page, within Yahoo trying to read e-mail the IE browser window will shut down with no reason.
I have downloaded and now using Netscape (don't like it, becasue i don't know it as well as IE). Not such problems with reading Yahoo e-mail. I am also having trouble with IE in other sites, when I try to click on links, again IE just shuts down.
I have checked and there are no new downloads and I have run virus scans.
Any ideas?
This step ( IE repair ) from the site below is a last resort as you will have to get your updates from the Windows Update site after it runs. You can read more on this here:
I tried the windsock and I am still having trouble. Try using IE and try to click on links and IE shuts down and the error report comes up and sends a message.

You can enter these in the Start> Run box, one at a time. It may fix the problem:
regsvr32.exe urlmon.dll
regsvr32.exe oleaut32.dll
regsvr32.exe browseui.dll
