Recovery Disc
I am having problems loging onto the internet. By speaking to the Dell technision they are advising me I may have a spyware problem. They want to charge me $99.00 for a one time fix.
Can this problem be taken care of by simply doing a recovery on my system?

Yes it can, but your reference to a Recovery Disk indicates you may be planning to reinstall XP. That will work, but so will PC Restore (see this since Dell does not make a Recovery Disk). If you do not routinely check your system for spyware, you should. Download Ad-aware from here and Spybot from here. Check online for updates to their databases then run them and delete all the spyware they identify.
