Upgrading to Windows 7
I bought my Dell laptop last year. It came with Vista installed. I'd like to use the Windows 7 beta. If I install this will it void my service agreement?

Michael,
Dell will not support your computer with Windows 7 beta.

Darn it, that's what I was afraid of. Is it a different situation when Windows 7 has its official release or am I stuck with Vista until my service contract is up?

i doubt it Mike , its you Laptop, Unless Dell cover yur OS as well then id say your ok.
Jut be carefull you dont log any OPP SYS issues though as this could be where it gets sticky.
But i presume your quite IT Litrate, knowing how to install your Opp SYS, thn dell will as always cver your hardware.
Problem i have is i dont really see any Dell drivers yet, and on my MSDN the RC candidate is out for Window 7, I see Nvidia already have the drivers out. But dell not so quick off the blocks
