I am not the most computer literate person on the earth but will try to explain my problem to the best of my ability.

Recently installed the latest version of McAfee Security Center (version 7.2).  Ever since this installation my pc has been very slow.  I removed Quickbooks and a Kodak program thinking these might be slowing the pc but had no change.  When I say things are running slowly, I mean specifically, when deleting Internet history, which I only save for 1 day, this takes probably 10 seconds and I may have been on only 1 site! 

I thought that another program might be running so I did a Ctrl-Alt-Del to see if something was and nothing else is running.  But when I shut down of re-start the computer a window pops up and says that __PTAWIA is currently running and all information will be lost. 

Has anyone or does anyone know what this __PTAWIA file is?
