XPS 13 7390 Interlaced display issue

With some regularity I experience the issue when the built-in display becomes terribly interlaced (see the picture). I have two more displays connected via USB-C ports and none of them ever had similar problems. The issue seems to be software-related as sometimes the affected area doesn't cover the whole screen but expands with the mouse movements. After setting the laptop to sleep and waking up the screen returns to normal. I have the latest version of Intel UHD Graphics Driver and all hardware checks didn't show any issues.

Any ideas about the causes of this issue and possible fixes?

And today I saw a different kind of distortion on the display. It darkened without any my involvement significantly distorting the colors. After putting to sleep and back normal picture restored. The photo of before and after is attachedIMG_8785_1.jpg
