The Aurora R1 was based on the Intel's X58 platform (LGA 1366 Socket). It shared identical hardware with the Aurora ALX R1. Processors included Core i7 920, 930, 940, 950, 960, 965, 975 , 980X , 990X . Sealed liquid cooling units for the processors came factory installed. The X58 platform can use Intel Xeon Processors, but none were used in the Aurora. The R1 used triple channel Memory and had Dedicated Graphics Card options from AMD's HD 5000 series line as well as Nvidia GeForce 400 Series and Nvidia GeForce 500 Series line. Power Supply options included a 525 watt Power Supply Unit, 875 watt Power Supply Unit and a 1000W Power Supply Unit. Power Supply and Motherboard supports both SLI and CrossfireX. I'm thinking its similar to the T3500 but not the same board maker. Having the LGA 1366 socket means that certain Xeon processors will fit, but they may not be supported by the Bios.
Try the last one. If you need an earlier version they will say. If you are at A01 it may require A08 before jumping to A11 for example but this is not a one size fits all it depends. Easiest thing to do is try the last one first if it needs the older it will tell you.
(REMOVE ANY ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE BEFORE Trying ANY of the bios.) They must be Right Click Run as Administrator.
I asked Bios, the computer rebooted and gives out Cheking NVRAM. Tried to reset BIOS settings (battery and jumper), disconnected everything from the motherboard, left for a while, does not help. What now?
Nothing helps, I'll give it to a repair shop.
Error: CMOS Checksum Bad
In the technical support of DELL will not help, they have nowhere to write, an incomprehensible use of the site.
