Aurora-R7, CPU pump failed, thread 1
I have found this cpu pump failed situation on my new R7 since last week, so far I tried:
1. Uninstall and re-install the Command Center, it works.....until next time I restarted my pc.
2. Run the ePSA test and it passed （the 10 mins one)
3. Re-install the bios and it works for few days until now. (I did not update or change bios recently tho)
Btw, the AlienFX also doesnt work when it shows the cpu pump failed.
Could anyone help me to fix this issue? Or should I need to call the Dell for help since it's still in the 1-yr warranty.

You mean the connectors of the liquid pump?
The version is 4.8.20.

1. Yes. Not sure how many cables it has (likely 1 or 2) but re-seat them all.
2. OK, hmm. Well, v4.8.20 is the version that Dell says works on the Aurora-R7. I suppose you could try a clean-install of the newer 4.8.23 version. Uninstall old, reboot, then install. But if it doesn't help, I would go back to v4.8.20 and trouble-shoot from there.

I have had my Aurora R7 brand new out of the box for less than a week and I am having this same problem... Did you find a fix ??

Im having same issue. Just bought on the 28th of feb. Loaded command center and the pump icon was there. Then it said failure and disappeared. Have tried everything above and other stuff to no fix. Really frustrating.10576

If it:
1. Passes ePSA (IIRC, it shows the Pump-RPM and Radiator-Fan Speed)
2. Can hold Intel-i7 Processor at about 75c while gaming (or running OCCT, Prime95, etc.)
... My guess would be it's just an Alienware Command Center glitch.
If you are both having this problem with a new Aurora-R7, sounds like maybe it's related to the version of AW-CC are you running.

Found a fix? Ive ran every test. Reinstalled etc. Doesnt even show up. Reseated both plugs etc. About to take computer back and go for something else..10465

Did you try re-seating both of it's connectors?
What version of AW-CC are you clean-installing?
