The following procedure list the steps to conduct a flea power release for the R7 computer.

1 Turn off your computer.

2 Disconnect the power cable.

3 Press and hold down the power button for 15 seconds to drain the flea power.

In your case I would leave the computer unplugged overnight...it couldn't hurt.

4 Connect the power cable.

5 Turn on your computer.

Also curious as to why you didn't shut down the computer through Windows as is, as far as I know, standard practice.

Shutting off through the main power button is saved for total computer lock ups where nothing else is successful. 

In other words, the last resort.

And certainly newer computers have ACPI (advanced configuration and power interface). This feature sends a signal from the power button to the computer, telling it to perform a shutdown. Thus, pressing your power button shuts the computer down for you if everything worked properly. 

But, the reason I don't do that is If you press and accidentally hold the power button, it's the same as cutting the power to your machine instantly. This can cause data loss, file corruption, hardware failure and possibly end of days. 

Scratch that, it lights up amber continuously blinking, and that's all it does but when taking my finger off the test button, it lights up red

The flashing amber light is an error code, for example two flashes pause two flashes is error code 2.  Can you tell how many flashes in each sequence before the pause?

@r72019 Just tried it, the power button seems to light up amber color for a split second and sometimes even red afterwards then just goes back to nothing

Try pushing the psu test button and then power button both at the same time and seeing if it boots that way. 

@Anonymous I did it just this one night, as often as i use the computer and for how long I've had it, i felt like maybe it would give it a break or something yknow? The break it's taking seems to be way toooo long though haha

I see, i didn't know that before! I've tried the unplugging overnight and woke up this morning to plug it in and no luck. Unfortunately I also didn't know that pressing the power button could do all that! Should I bring it in somewhere?
