Go to SolutionAW3821DW, Brightness setting greyed out
For some reason in my AW3821DW settings, the Brightness is greyed out. I can adjust the Contrast, just not the Brightness and I wonder why that is? Am I the only one who has this problem? I do like to adjust these settings myself and would really like to know if there is something that can be done to unlock the Brightness setting on the AW3821DW?

What color profile are you using? Some profiles likely have locked settings.

I am using present: standard, game enhanced mode off, response time fast, dark stabilizer O, variable backlight mode 0 and no matter which ones I select, the brightness is greyed out.
I have tried every setting on this monitor and with each, the brightness is never allowed to be adjusted, only the contrast.
I have even done a factory reset without any solutions.

ok, I figured it was that or the ambient light sensor if it has one.

Make sure HDR is turned off in Windows.
Make sure no ambient light sensor adjustment is selected.
