AppSync 2.2.2.2 and Veritas Volume Manager

I have a need to get some type of backup/snapshots of a Windows 2008R2 Enterprise server that has Powerpath and Veritas volume manager installed, along with Enterprise Vault.

We use AppSync to snapshot our Exchange DAG environment and was hoping to use it for this purpose.

I cannot find any references for AppSync and Veritas Volume manager, and was wondering if it would be a supported configuration?

    AppSync does not support a Windows system running Veritas volume manager.

    VERITAS on Windows is not supported.

    Not quite sure I follow.

    So, AppSync is not supported on a windows 2008 R2 server running Veritas Volume Manager?
