Avamar Time Zone Issue

We have two grids, on in NY and one in CA.

We were told to never open the admin console and connect to the opposite costs grid becuase of a time zone bug that causes the times of the jobs to go out of whack and set to the local time zone you open your console from.

Anyone heard of this, is there a fix?

You can always open the Admin GUI and view the content, if you modify any settings then it will be updated with the current timezone from where you open the Admin GUI.

Here is what I have done in the past.

    1) Change your windows time zone.

    2) log into the Avamar admin console.

    3) edit the schedules etc.

Now they all reflect the local time settings for that site.

    Hi,

The schedule setting of Avamar server would not be changed by another admin console from different time zone. They would only show as local time instead of remote server time. For example, a schedule of 1AM in CA would show as 4AM in NY console.

Hope the information would be helpful.
