How do you move a group policy

coworker setup a new group policy but did not create it in the correct location for our standards

he already has all the clients added and all setup.

is  there a way to copy/move the policy group to another Avamar Doman?

(not the clients the group policy!)

there is a copy, and it shows domain - but you cannot change the domain (a dataset you can change the domain when you copy - but not a group policy)

is there a mccli command to do this?

I have had to do a similar thing with datasets and found the only way was by using mccli to export and then import to the new location.

However it looks like there is no import command for groups (seems odd).

I tried doing a group copy command specifying a new domain for the new group but got this error: "error      Cannot copy groups to other domains."

Download the MCCLI command line reference for the full syntax but I don't believe it is possible from what I can see.

Datasets you can do a copy and put it in a new domain.

don't know why you cannot copy a group policy to a new domain, could be very helpful.

    thanks for the info
