I need to do a CLI based NAS code downgrade for which I need to mount the DVD. However when I run the command

#mount -r /media/cdrom

mount: special device /dev/cdrom does not exist
,appears. I cannot even detect the device in dmesg.
How can I find out the proper device for me to make the correct soft file
