Can't find Available Destinations

Hi All,

Need your help here.

We have a target FS, which was created as a replication destination.

For some reason, the replication relation was removed from Replication tab, however, we can't see any available destinations for this FS. As a result, we can't create any new replication for this FS. Just wondering how can I re-create the replication?

Here is the definition for this target FS.

We definitly do not have any replication for this FS.

[nasadmin@Alinta_Bur_NAS nasadmin]$ fs_replicate -list

Troubleshooting this would be easier, with the exact error message and nas version.

Is this nas 5.5 and replication V1?

Or is it 5.6? Then the GUI does not work with replication V1

    Hi Peter,

    Here is the version:

    [nasadmin@Alinta_Tal_NAS nasadmin]$ nas_version

    5.5.29-1

    [nasadmin@Alinta_Bur_NAS nasadmin]$ nas_version

    5.5.29-1

    [nasadmin@Alinta_Bur_NAS nasadmin]$

    We are using replication V1.

Could you please inform what log file you want?

    uups,

5.5 is very old, support for it ended on Dec 31th 2010.

What is the exact error message, when setting up replication using the CLI?

How much space is available on the destination pool "clarata_archive"?

    Hi,

To investigate the issue I need the following details:

    1.    fs_replicate –list from source and destination.

    2.    Please check if the source has any replication for the fs. You can find that from the command nas_fs –i .

I think you want to delete the replication and recreate the replication or do you want to resume it?

The Output that you have given does not have the full FS name:

    nasadmin@Alinta_Bur_NAS nasadmin]$ fs_replicate -list

    Local Source Filesystems

Id   Source     FlowCtrl State    Destination         FlowCtrl State    Network

    Local Destination File systems

Id   Source              FlowCtrl State    Dest.      FlowCtrl State    Network

376  root_fs_vdm_VTAL_VD inactive active   root_fs_vd inactive active   alive

380  pfs_vtalpwfile01:Al inactive active   sfs_vtalpw inactive active   alive

404  pfs_vtalpwfile02:Al inactive active   sfs_vtalpw inactive active   alive

408  pfs_vtalpwfile04:Al inactive active   sfs_vtalpw inactive active   alive

400  pfs_vtalpwfile05:Al inactive active   sfs_vtalpw inactive active   alive

384  pfs_vtalpwfile06:Al inactive active   sfs_vtalpw inactive active   alive

392  pfs_vtalpwfile09:Al inactive active   sfs_vtalpw inactive active   alive

396  pfs_vtalpwfile07:Al inactive active   sfs_vtalpw inactive active   alive

412  pfs_vtalpwfile08:Al inactive active   sfs_vtalpw inactive active   alive

388  pfs_vtalpwfile11:Al inactive active   sfs_vtalpw inactive active   alive

    [nasadmin@Alinta_Bur_NAS nasadmin]$

    Thanks,

    Rohan Raj.
