Move network interface to a different device

Hello,

I have an NS960 with with 2 datamovers, active/passive.  We have an iSCSI interface running through a single device - cge2-1.  What we would like to do is move that interface over to a virtual 4 port trunk, which is already setup.  I would like to do this via the command line, and not have to delete and re-set it up.  Is it possible to do this?  I understand that there may be some downtime in this process.  Thank you.

Not possible – unless you get support to dialin and change the config files directly

Thank you Rainer.  Is this something that support typically does?  Basically I am just trying to minimize downtime.  If I open a ticket with them, do you think they will know what I am talking about?

    No they probably won't

I would try if you can remove the old and add the new interface with the same IP - probably have to stop ISCSI before

Try in a lab or with a Simulator
