WINS server settings

Hi All

If there is a change in the WINS server IP address, do I need to change the WINS settings in NAS. If I do, whats the command to change it.

[nasadmin@zsg03cs01 etc]$ server_cifs server_2 | grep -i wins
Default WINS servers = xx.xx.xx.xx:yy.yy.yy.yy
[nasadmin@zsg03cs01 etc]$

Thanks

This can be done online, no downtime necessary

There is no change command, just add and delete.
    f.e.
    server_cifs server_x -add wins=NewIP
    server_cifs server_x -delete wins=OldIP

If the wins is defined for dedicated compnames, then it is
    server_cifs server_x -add compname= ,domain=
    [,alias= ...]
    [,hidden={y|n}][,authentication={kerberos|all}]
    [,netbios= ]
    [[,interface= [, wins= [: ]][,dns= ]]...]

    Hi Peter

Thanks for the answer. By the way do I need a downtime for the NAS to issue this command or it can be done online.
