Dell 3100 CHromebooks

Dell Chromebook 3100 wont turn of, until the battery is drained, after it dies if connecting back to power and turning on , the screen just starts turning on and off non stop, and I can't even turn off the Chromebook it just goes off and on, while the charging LED is flashing between white and yellow. Is there any fix for that?

    Have you tried a hard reset on it?  It's usually the first thing I do.

    Yeah I have tried that, but because the Chromebook just keeps turning off and on, I could not do a hard reset.

    Just hold the power refresh for like 2 seconds. release power and keep holding refresh. If that doesn't work you can try unplugging the battery. It's most likely a hardware issue I'm afraid.

    Have you tried a hard reset on it? It's usually the first thing I do. Is this laptop good for High school laptop? Because I'm looking for myself school usage and want to buy best "Best for Money Value".

    I had the same problem; my fix was that the brightness up key was stuck, and I had to remove it.
