HEAT Tool

Does anyone know the link to generate HEAT report? I am an ASN but am not able to trace this. It takes 2-3 days for EMC guys to generate this.

not sure ..i would hope so. If you take a look at release notes for EMCReport for windows you will see that i gathers iSCSI information.

The title of the tool says it is for Fibre attached Symmetrix & Clariion, would it work the same for iSCSI connectivities also.

Could always just run and through and see what happens. Couldn't hurt anything ;)

HEAT is the tool you use to read the host grabs - there are host grabs for each OS supported. If you are using the Windows host grab, emcreports, then the latest version of grab will collect the iSCSI configuration information and HEAT will display it in a section near the bottom of the report.

You can also look at the individual iscsi files if you unzip the grab - they are in the "host" directory.
