mirrorview/a iscsi connection
hello, I have 2 cx3-20 combo arrays with MV/S and A installed. The hosts are connected via FC and i would like to set up MV/A over the iscsi ports as they are in separate buildings, I configure the ports and am able to test connection (the arrays see each other), however, when I try to enable the actual connection, the only option shows as FC, hence I am unable to connect.
Note, there was a mix up in initial setup in that MV/S was installed first. Is there an iscsi enabler or something for when MV/S is installed? I know iscsi does not support MV/S.....and yes the MV/A enablers are both installed.

I dont show any connectivity as of yet. I am not at the customer site at the moment, but I think the problem is that they are using the 0 and 1 ports. The 3-20 mirrorview port on iscsi is 3. We will be reconfiguring to use those ports.323

ohh......Mirrorview can't work on port 0 and 1. it should be port3 for iSCSi and 5 for FC.323

Port 1 it is, no worries
CX3-10c: Ports 0 and 1 are iSCSI, ports 2 and 3 are FC.
These FC ports are in fact FC ports 0 and 1
CX3-20c: Ports 0, 1, 2 and 3 are iSCSI, ports 4 and 5 are FC.
These FC ports are in fact FC ports 0 and 1
CX4-120c: Ports 0 and 1 are FC, ports 2 and 3 are iSCSI.
These iSCSI ports are in fact iSCSI ports 0 and 1

Are you using both SPA and SPB port 1? For iSCSI you need to have both SPA and SPB connected.

What you see in the connectivity status of your cx, in front of Mirrorview port which are registered, type "fibre" or iSCSi?
