qlogic and emc approved qlogic drivers

hi everyone,

how do i go about verifying whether a qlogic hba or an emc approved qlogic drivers was installed on a server? file version number, etc?

    or run EMCgrab on the host ..and then submit it through HEAT. The output report will mention if driver/bios version is not supported.

    Two answers:

    1. go to the EMC section on Qlogic's WEB page, find your HBA and OS and see the release notes and Hot Fix notes for the driver

    2. on PowerLink go to


    Home > Support > Interoperability and Product Lifecycle Information > E-Lab Interoperability Navigator

    Click the link to "Launch E-Lab Interoperability Navigator". This will take you to the E-Lab page - I like to use the PDF's, others use the Wizards - this will list the currently tested and supported devices.
