Custom storage profile- Compellent.

Could someone explain the procedure to apply custom storage profile to a Volume in compellent?.

    Hello BijeshK,

    As Bvienneau stated that is the correct way to change your storage profile.  Also if you enable manual storage mode you will not be able to disable it.  When it comes to manual storage mode yes you have more options in your configuration & more details but also in running manual storage mode override the stripe width set in the system priorities.

    Click the top level of the navigation tree then you should have the "Configure My Volume Defaults" option. Select that and then the Advanced tab, check the "Allow Storage Profile Selection" checkbox and click OK. That'll show you the Storage Profiles under the Storage section now. From there you can create your own profiles.

    create it and then right click and apply it to the volume you want?

    Should I Enable Manual Storage Mode option which is under system tree to enable customer storage profile ?
