FOB Shipping Inquiry
Does anyone know how Dell ships laptops to a business in the United States? Do they ship using FOB Destination or FOB Origin. I would assume it is FOB Destination as this makes the most logical sense but need to clarify for my peace of mind before I order over 50K in product.

The manufacturer ships the systems from China or Mexico depending on notebook or desktop -- the delivery company (in the US, usually FedEx) has responsibility for the system once it reaches your home country. Presumably the manufacturer (Compal, Quanta, Foxconn, etc.) has responsibility when it's aboard an aircraft, ship or train from the assembly plant.
