I have purchased a DELL XPS 27 AIO two weeks back. After opeing the packaging this weekend I found that the following items were missing. I first emailed customer support but there was no response for TWO days.
I have spent two hours with Dell on phone and have been passed around between Customer Care, Technical Support and Premier Technical Support. Nobody would help me. They simply passed me to the next party; and at the end they will simply drop the call.
Is there anybody who could help me?
The missing items are:
Item # 340-ADQK (XPS 2720 Resource DVD)
Item # 340-AGUE (XPS 2720 8.1 Placemat)

First look at your invoice and see if the placement is listed? If you mean a recovery disk when you say resource disc, Dell no longer sends one with every order. I'll get you one, don't worry.

Both items (Resource DVD & Placemat) are clearly listed on the Packing Slip. But they were not inside the box. And to be very clear, I am not referring to the Recovery Disk. I am talking of the Resource DVD. The item numbers of the missing items are also clearly mentioned:
Item # 340-ADQK (XPS 2720 Resource DVD)
Item # 340-AGUE (XPS 2720 8.1 Placemat)
I need Dell to ship them to me but so far neither Cust Support nor Tech Support has helped.

The packing slip is in error. There is not a Dell 5 digit part number for a Resource CD nor a placemat. Without a part number, they cannot be sent out. You must download and save the drivers to a USB key or burn them to a DVD from here:
