Ownership transfer issue
On October 2018 I purchased my personal laptop on Amazon Dell XPS 13 . I received all the required documents except proof of previous ownership. About two weeks ago, there was an issue with the laptop - the battery completely drained and the laptop no longer works without .being connected to a power source I contacted you to service the laptop since it is still covered under the manufacturer's warranty, but it seems that there was no transfer of ownership and you cannot service a laptop that is not under my name and not under “Israeli ownership. I then contacted Amazon in order to receive the previous owner's information and transfer it under "Israeli ownership" so that it can be fixed in a service center in Israel. I received Amazon's reply this week: They could not locate proof of previous ownership ,Please advise on the matter I am currently unable to transfer ownership due to missing documents and I cannot send the laptop in for repair at an authorized service center in Israel ,Best regards

You have to have the previous registered owners information to transfer ownership. Without this your best bet is to file a complaint with Amazon and try to get your money back from them.
