Unable to discover Non-Dell Linux Servers using SSH
I am unable to discover non-Dell Linux servers in discovery using SSH. I have read the Linux logs and SSH connection is being established. I have ensured that the user account being used is set to "NOPASSWD" in the sudoers group. I have debug enabled on the OpenManage side but the console logs from do not say much and the Linux logs are showing that the connection is being established. I am able to establish SSH connection to the Linux servers using Putty and Network tools. Why is it failing?
Job error: Message: Unable to discover the device because the protocol SSH used for discovering this target is not supported.
Console log error: The group and/or devices were not provided or they are invalid, operation cannot continue.
For Non-Dell servers, only IPMI protocol is supported. You can try using that protocol to discover the server in OME. Though, OME compatibility might be a in question when it comes to non-Dell servers, I couldn't find proper documentation.

Hi,
Can you let me know what version of Linux are you running, also the version of the OME.
I'm pretty sure that you have already provided the root credentials on the discovery settings right?
