OMEv2.3 || System Updates

Hey Guys,

I've recently deployed over 200 Dell R740s, and R740xd's. I've added them using WS-MAN protocol, and everything appears as it should.

However, when I try and create a system update, none of the 740s are in the list. Is this because there are no valid updates for the system?

Hey Shivendra K,

I've got the latest catalog, however we're having major issues with the Intel Onboard NICs, and the iDRAC. The iDRAC locks up, and fails. If you use RACAdmin it'll crash, and start a continuous reboot. My colleague has a better example of whats going on. I'll consult him on the exact problems.

I'm hoping to get beta drivers to test or something.

I would request you to consult Dell Support (if not done already). They should be able to help on the issues.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for the query.

Dell EMC Server catalog is updated every three weeks. I believe you need to update the catalog in OME. On System Update page | Summary tab, click "Get the latest" button to do the same.

Let us know of results.
