Zur LösungBatteriewechsel bei Optiplex 7040 Micro Formfaktor PC
Hallo,
ich habe mir vermutlich mein BIOS zerschossen. Jetzt würde ich gerne die BIOS-Batterie wechseln. Sie ist wahrscheinlich fest eingebaut. Oft sieht man, das man nur eine Klammer zurückdrücken muss. Diese sehe ich hier nicht. Hier sieht es nach einem festen Plastikteil aus. Siehe Foto unten.
Ich traue mich nicht mit einem Schraubenzieher daran zu gehen. Gibt es spezielles Werkzeug?

Hallo Tom,
dein Tip ist wunderbar. Aber leider wird ausgerechnet bei diesem Modell nichts über die Positionierung des RTCRST- Jumper und des PSWD- Jumper. In dem Handbuch des Mini-Towers des Optiplex 7040 gibt es hierfür eine Beschreibung. Beim Micro Formfaktor leider nicht.
Also als Leihe weiß ich auch nicht, welchen ich dann von wo nach wo setzen muss.
Vielleicht können Sie das ja herausfinden.

Du hast es ja schon selbst oben abfotografiert. :)
Das blaue Ding über der Batterie ist der Jumper. Den kann man abziehen und steckt ihn auf die rechten 2 kleinen Pins. Dann hättest du ein Bios Reset gemacht.
Dein PC unterstützt eigentlich auch die Bios Recovery Option. Das könnte dir weiter helfen. Eine Anleitung oder mehr Informationen dazu findest du hier.

Hallo Tom,
ich habe jetzt alles probiert. Batterie raus, Jumper gewechselt, USB-Stick mit Dell Recovery Tool angeschlossen. Aber mein Bildschirm bleibt im Standby modus. Ich bekomme die Krise.Gruß Johannes

d.h. die Powerled vorn blinkt? Tut sie das eventuell mehrmals in bestimmten Abständen gelb?
Da gibt es hier eine interessante Liste:
Amber Blinking Pattern Problem Description Suggested Resolution 2,1 Bad Motherboard Replace the motherboard. 2,2 Bad Motherboard, Power Supply or Power Supply cabling If customer can assist to troubleshoot, narrow down the issue with PSU BIST Test, reseat cable.
If nothing works, replace the motherboard, power supply or cabling.2,3 Bad Motherboard, Memory or Processor If customer can assist to troubleshoot, narrow down the issue by reseating memory and swapping an available known good memory.
If nothing works, replace the motherboard, memory or processor.2,4 Bad coin cell battery If customer can assist to troubleshoot, narrow down the issue by swapping a known good coin cell battery if available.
If nothing works, replace the coin cell battery.2,5 BIOS Checksum Failure System is in Recovery Mode.

If customer can assist to troubleshoot, narrow down the issue by removing one by one the memory on motherboard to determine which one failed. Also, combining the configuration to validate appropriate combination.
If identified the component failed, replace the component.
If none of the component failed, replace the motherboard.3,6 System board failure Fatal system board failure detected.
If customer can assist to troubleshoot, narrow down the issue by removing one by one the component on motherboard to determine which one failed.
If identified any of the component failed, replace the component.
If none of the component failed, replace the motherboard.3,7 Possible memory failure Memory subsystem configuration activity is in progress. Memory modules have been detected but appear to be incompatible or in an invalid configuration.
If customer can assist to troubleshoot, narrow down the issue by removing one by one the memory on motherboard to determine which one failed.

Hallo Tom. Bei mir bleibt die Power -Lampe in einem weißen Licht brennen. Am Sonntag habe ich den Dell-Support angeschrieben. Bis heute noch keine Antwort.
Wie soll es weiter gehen? Soll ich mich trauen die SSD auszubauen und dann wieder die BIOS recovery anzuschließen?

Der leuchtet ständig weiß?
Dann ist der Optiplex doch an und der POST sogar fertig? Und du siehst gar nix auf dem Bildschirm? Der ist sicher korrekt angeschlossen und eingestellt?

Vielleicht macht der Monitor auch nichts? Wenn du den Rechner einschaltest und die LED dann weiß leuchtet ist der Post Vorgang durch gelaufen. Der Rechner ist entweder bereits hoch gefahren oder wartet auf die Übergabe an das Betriebssystem. Bei einem Fehler im Bios oder in der Hardware würde die LED nicht normal weiß leuchten. Vielleicht probierst du einfach HDMI zu HDMI an deinen Fernseher, dass wäre evtl. noch eine Möglichkeit.

Hallo. Ich habe einen AOC 919Vwa Bildschirm mit DVI Ausgang und am HDMI angeschlossen. Kabel neu von Amazon. Der Bildschirm reagiert nicht. Also bekommt er kein Signal. Tastatur und Maus habe ich vorne angeschlossen. Beim ersten mal hat es ja auch funktioniert. Nur weil ich Windows 10 installieren wollte habe ich im BIOS auf Uefi umgestellt. Ob ich hierbei einen falschen Befehl ausgeführt habe kann ich nicht sagen und reproduzieren, weil ich ja nicht mehr dahin komme. Und die BefehlE waren alle in Englisch. Jedenfalls macht er nichts mehr.

Hi Tom,
der Rechner läuft nun am TV. An meinem AOC-Bildschirm bleibt der Bildschirm weiterhin schwarz. Habe mir nun einen neuen Bildschirm von Dell bestellt. Danke.
