'Invalid parameter' when using Force PXE for next reboot (OMCI 8.0)?
I'm looking at the ForcePXE on next reboot script, when I attempt to run it on a Latitude E4310 (A03 BIOS) I get an 'invalid parameter' error on line 76.
One of the attributes/parameters defined in the script is "Force PXE on Next Boot" however this is defined as "ForcePXEonNextBoot" in other documents (e.g. in this document : http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/software/smcliins/cli80/EN/refgd/index.htm#enabling_pxe_boot_on_next_reboot ), however when I modify this I still get the same error. the problem seems to be how the array is being handled, or maybe it is this system I'm running it on?
with OMCI v.8.0.1.150, A00 installed I cannot find the ForcePXEonNextBoot WMI attribute at all, should it even exist on this system?
using the CCTK I don't see this option available either although it is mentioned in help files.
just looking through the comments on the top of this script and the purpose hasn't even been updated, apparently it's for 'To clear the chassis intrusion status on a Dell OMCI client.'
From what i can see there is a distinct lack of QA going on here...?
Yes. The dev team informed me that the ForcePXEonReboot is apparently not available in the BIOS on Latitude systems. A request is being made to address that. I don't know if that request has been accepted or not.
