Hello,

I have an inspiron 15 7579, and recently replaced the battery. The battery is new and from Dell, and the charger I'm using is the one the computer originally came with.

The battery drained to zero last night, after I left the computer on by mistake. I have had it charging all day, and it says it is charging but the percentage is still at 0%. Battery health is "excellent" according to Dell Power Manager Lite, which also indicates that the battery is charging.

When I unplug the charger, my laptop automatically turns off. The battery does not appear to be charging.

Is there a way to fix this?
