I have an Inspiron 7591. I wanted to boot off a USB Stick. However, it wouldn't show the boot list option for the USB. Even the BIOS doesn't recognize it. It boots fine on Inspiron 3521. I turned off secure boot, and PTT(whatever that is). I searched the internet and it said to boot from a USB 2 port. But there are only USB 3 ports in the laptop. How do I fix this ? Thanks in advance.

well, I have a Bootable Hackintosh installer too. I want to install that to a second ssd. it boots on my other machine, but not on this one. there is simply NO BOOT OPTION for any USB ! that's why I want the fix
The Dell UEFI can't work with GPT from a flash drive.
I won't comment on violating Apple's licensing (and the terms of service of this forum). I suggest you move any such questions elsewhere, since you may find yourself banned for discussing that here.
Sorry i had no idea that was illegal. I also have ideas on installing Phoenix OS, based on android. I hope you can help me with this. It also needs GPT with UEFI. So it comes under the same thread. cannot boot from usb.

You will need a different system with a more configurable UEFI boot sequence - the Dell Inspiron systems will not boot a GPT partitioned flash drive.
