Does anyone know what I can do re my fan sporadically going hyper and then spitting out a D0501 error code next time I boot up? I had a professional open the laptop to put new RAM in and they put some cooling gel on the fan for me, but it hasn't helped. I've always had the laptop on an angled support so there's always airflow. Should I get it serviced again or go for a cheaper option of an angled cooling pad with fans in (about £20)? If the pad, any recommendations welcome! Thanks in advance.
