Caps lock LED permanently on when attempting to boot.

The screen suddenly died upon opening the laptop. I have already tried removing the battery with no success. I've also unplugged and plugged back in the RAM and SSD as well as connecting it up to an external HDMI monitor but is states that no signal is being received. Although I'm unsure if this was because in windows setting the laptop was told to duplicate the original display when projecting it onto another screen. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
