Password reset doesn’t work Windows 10
Hi, I reset my password on the reset screen. I reset my password on my Microsoft outlook account. My computer will not accept either password after the resets. I checked the boot issues and I can log into the diagnostics setting with my old password. However My computer will not accept this password on the log in screen. What do I need to do to log in as the password reset function is not working?
Hi, you can use a Windows 10 install disk to reset or recover your Windows 10 local admin account's password. Steps with pictures here:

You have to go to your MS Account to change passwords and get special codes from MS to make sure you are actually you and not a hacker. You should have a really good reason to do this because so much depends on your MS acct.--even windows activation.
