We hit serious code bug which cause Smartconnect not function.

Support reply this is known issue but need to wait for next release version

499319 : Smartconnect stops responding and VIP is missing from cluster or smartconnect hands out an IP that no longer exists on the cluster https://support.emc.com/kb/499319

** This bug affect 8.0.0.0 to 8.0.0.5 and 8.0.1.0 to 8.0.1.1 **

It means this bug affect all OneFS 8 version

The workaround just down the network interface and up again or reboot this node.

I don't know why EMC can't provide hot fix patch to resolve this problem ASAP instead of waiting for the next release version..... may be wait 4 months.

From user point of view, it is not acceptable because have production impact

This KB published in 19 May 2017

But 8.0.0.5 release in 19 June 2017 which also not fix this bug.
