Latitude 5410, Stop code: INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE
We are having this issue across our Dell laptop estate. A user can be working one day, power off then power up the next day and get this message. The reason is the "SATA Operation" field has been changed from "AHCI" to "Raid". We are not aware of any updates (Dell or Windows). We first thought this could be due to weak BIOS batteries (as the result is like a bios reset) but it is now happening to newer laptop models.
Hi JOcean, The truth is no we havent. Some of the other older dell laptops have BIOS batteries encased in a plastic so we would need to order in the replacements. But this issue is happening to laptops that are just over 18-months old.
I am currently investigating BIOS versions. The version on the machine that has the issue is 1.4.3 23/12/2020. I will run a full dell update and see if the BIOS is updated.
This forum post may help and did you try changing the CMOS battery in any of the units to determine if that is the cause? This sounds like a BIOS reset which the weak battery could cause or an update. Updates may not be obvious as they are auto initiated on Dell systems.

Serious work on an E5430 and constantly building and working on an i5-6500 Desktop
Yes if you have pushed a bios update to your user laptops, the Dell default setting for SATA operation is RAID. You need to manually change it back to AHCI on each laptop in your estate or write a custom bios group policy setting using Dell tool kit to push to all users to overwrite the new bios default.
Hi, I have never experienced a BIOS reset if an update is pushed to the machine. The machine has always retained settings. Specifically AHCI in Sata Operation.
