Replacement cap for keyboard trackpoint / Trackstick
I need a replacement cap for my Dell Latitude 5490.
I see several similar ones on eBay- but am not sure what the dimensions are or the part number at Dell.
They keyboard assembly as listed in the build sheet is
583-BEHW : Dual Pointing English backlit Keyboard
Help?
If it's true that I need to replace the whole keyboard to get it- that's another issue that needs to be escalated.

I can't compare to the ones on eBay until AFTER I BUY THEM. Which is why I was hoping to get the dimensions/specifications; without having to get a micrometer or calipers to measure the exact dimensions.
So... No, "Taking it off and comparing it," isn't really a solution.

Remove the existing one.
Compare against the ones sold on eBay.
