We've recently had a motherboard and SSD replacement under warranty on one of our Latitudes. It came with a key card with an activation key, but when doing a cleam install the motherboard already seems to have the embedded key.

Can anyone confirm what the situation is here? I assume that the embedded key willl continue to work for the life of the device, so why is the activation key supplied?
