Hi Rodrigo,
Noticed an article referring to the Bios updates for the M17. I checked my Bios version (A13), followed the link you gave and noticed the latest was A14. It stated it was for the M17's.
Cut a long story short, I downloaded A14, clicked run, and started the install. Got a "WARNING running on an unsupported system". What is going on??

Hello Pedro21,
I think you might be confusing the revisions. There are the M17x series which include the M17x, M17x R2, M17x R3 and M17xR4. And then we have the M17 R1 (also known as M17 R5) and the M17 R2 which are no longer part of the "x" series. If your system is an Alienware M17xR4, click here for the latest Bios firmware download link. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Rodrigo,
Checked the link out. The Bios update there is A12. Some time ago I updated to A13 via the Updates and Downloads link using my service tag. All is running smoothly now so I don't think I will change anything. Many thanks once again.
