Hi all, recently I've had an issue with my wireless adapter come up.  I've got an m17x, I don't know the actual adapter I have in it.

I do know that it is my computer's adapter that is having issues, not the internet itself.  After a while, my adapter seems to 'flicker' with my connection.  I will be playing an online game, for instance, and all of a sudden I will drop the connection.  I can still receive packages for a few seconds, then the connection is lost all together for a second or two.  The adapter is able to recover for a few seconds and the process repeats.  Generally a restart fixes the problem, but that gets annoying and as of late it hasn't worked as well as it used to.  Now I have to restart the computer and let it sit a while.

Luckily I can still browse the internet and get my work done, but it does interfere with my gaming and downloads.  I would guess that the wireless adapter is overheating somehow, as it only happens after I've been playing for a bit - but I'm not knowledgeable on this.

Any recommendation as to how I might get this fixed would be appreciated.  I'm going to try using an ethernet cable and link up directly to my router to see if it is indeed just the wireless adapter and not something else.
