Alienware TactX mouse randomly stops working
I got my mouse over a year ago and had no problems with it until recently. It just stops working I hear the device disconnect sound and the lights go out then after a second or two come back on and functions just fine for a bit then cuts out again. I ran the trouble shoot and it says that I am using a USB 2.0 mouse with a USB 3.0. The odd thing is I haven't any trouble with the mouse and computer in over a year I got them at the same time. It is very disconcerting trying to play a game and have my mouse cut out on me when I need it to function the most during boss fights and such. Any help you can provide will be helpful.

Have you set the system to high performance in the power settings?
No I have it set to balanced the same setting I've used for over a year. I have just changed it to see if it changes it. It has made no change it still turns off then turns back on after a second or two. Which *** when I'm surfing the web but really causes troubles when I'm playing my MMOs.

Have you tested the mouse in a different computer?
I too am having the same issue. Where my mouse goes dark, freezes and then starts again. You can hear the "plug and play" sound from USB when it does this. I have tried all ports. This recently started approx 1 month ago. I use high power settings. I have installed the drivers you posted last (Alienware TactX Keyboard (KG900) & Mouse (MG900) Application & Driver). Though reading the forum, and the compatability of the drivers it doesn't even mention Alienware 18. As I said before this started happening recently....I'm not sure if there was a windows update? Or maybe a problem with alienware command center? As the command center/tactx control doesn't even recognize the device.Oddly enough I can still change the color settings in alienfusion?
Alienware 18
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4800MQ CPU@ 2.70 GHz
16.0 GB RAM
64-bit Operating system
Windows 7 (Service pack 1)Same issue here, I find that I used to be able to move the USB cables into different slots and it would resolve itself for the next few hours then I would have to do the same to actually be able to use the cables. Now I'm forced to have to restart my Aurora R4 (Windows 10) to be actually able to use the keyboard or mouse (K900)

Have you tested the mouse in all the different ports?
Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the Tactx mouse driver?
