M11x Ship date

I will one day be the proud owner of an M11x. I was curious has anyone got a ship date earlier then 3/10/2010?

If you ordered your machine with the 500GB HDD, they are backordered.. Ordered a M17x and it has the 500GB drive.. Ordered jan 28th, delayed twice now to March 18th.. Called and they said the machine is ready to go, just the 500GB HDD is backordered, hence the delay..

    where is your location?

I ordered my m11x since 5th jan 10, and my status still under "ORDER RECEIVE"

    Its been twelve days now.

    I ordered from dell.com.au.

I called and email dell, still nothing happen with my order status.

Just yesterday they called me and let me know the delivery will be late.

They said it would take  another two weeks for me to received it.

So the total delivery time will be a month instead of 20 days as they promise.

    Feeling furious now.

Maybe U.S service is better than us here "down under"

    Northeastern US.

And like LordZog said, if you bought the 500GB HDD, they are in fact backordered.

Also, I canceled mine because one of the parts weren't in stock. My first order was placed on 1/24.

    So don't feel down. :)

    Is that right?

But still, the estimated delivery says it would be 20 days.

By the way thanks for the info guys.

Well hopefully they can deliver to us earlyer

The reported number of systems being shipped today is pretty high, so feel confident.

I placed my order on 2/ 8/ 10 and I was cheap with the hard drive since I have a 1TB external so I am not expecting delays. It's funny how when you call into Dell for an updated answer to if something is delayed or not the same guy answers the phone 4 times in a row with different names like Jame Steve Brian or Hanbatu and they all obvious read from the same computer screen "Sir you could please check the website for order status information that is the most up to date." Worst part about it is Dell hates posting back ordered supplies on their website because they want your money before they worry about making whatever you order. Rant over

Dell just recovered from a massive shortage of parts, everyone got delayed. You're not the only one. Also, since the m11x is so new, there is a high demand, many are buying.

Well.. just received email from dell.

It says the estimated delivery of my order would be on 2010 of march 10.

Since I placed the order  the 5th of jan, the total delivery time would be more than 20 working days.

Delivery period would be exactly 23 days.

Before I placed my order, it says the estimated delivery times is 20 working days.

But  again... there might be another email to notify me wheater there will be another delay or...

So untill then, things could really go either way.

Finger cross there wont be anymore delay for us.
