Do you get any lights or fans spinning up? Recommend you call support or contact Chris here on the forums with your service tag number so he can assist you.
Silly question - are you using a power strip and is that power strip functional? Or are you plugged directly into the wall?
I get nothing at all. When I press the power supply button on the back the fan does run and when i release it there is a momentary flash from the box lights on the side as it goes off but the power button on top does nothing. I've tried two different power cords into the computer itself thinking maybe that's it but both are the same. The power strips I'm using are both on and operating fine.
OK it looks like the side of the case was loose. I pushed and it clicked and now it does start to an intel screen that says "press ctrl-I to enter configuration utility". No idea what I'm supposed to do now.
You should contact Alienware phone support. There is no reason you should have to enter the config menu on a brand new system. Call them and let them deal with it.
There is a good chance something could have come loose when it was being shipped. Let them trouble shoot it and see. I can tell what control-I is but you shouldn't need to do that, contact Alienware. This is the second time that i got the same reply, and yes i tried that and it still doesnt works. The power supply run correctyl and everything is well, it is just the power button doesnt works. Im guessing that it is because i opened the removable door and put it back again. If im right, if i open the removable case i cannot turn the pc on right? I closed the case, but it still not turning on

Hi Keyyyy,
The removable door is the one located to the right, looking the computer back to front. If you have the same problem described above, check this article.
