ssd

Hi, I have 4 ssd's. 2 x 256gb V4 crucial and 2 x M4 128gb crucial.

When I run the m4's in raid 0 all is well windows starts in about 18 seconds. You can see the difference between them and my pair of seagate 7200's.

When the V4's are installed to the same set up, I notice no differnce in speed to my 7200 also they seem a bit glitchy. Are the v4's not compatable to my system?

You have an Intel x58 Chipset based system. Intel SATA-II-300.

    - Check cables and back-plane. Be sure they are down-clocking to SATA-II properly.

Ask Crucial your question. There is nothing really special about Area-51 motherboard. That others are working fine proves MB is fine.

New XPS users were having some (cold boot) problems with Crucial SSDs that Dell was pre-installing. Not sure which exact models they were.
