3DMark05

I've ran 3dmark a few times and got a score  of 3791 and a cpu score of 4800 with a geforce 6800 and the latest 78.01 driver.  Seems a low to me.  I plan on running the tests again after doing a few tweaks to the system.  The ad for the dimension xps 4 says "More Power For Your Gaming Needs!"
Not true.

Check you score vs. similiar rigs on the Orb, but it sounds about right if your running it stock.

That does seem a bit low for the 6800.

    I have P4 630 3.0GHz / 1 GB RAM / 6600 GT and I get 3dMark05 3770. (with an accompanying CPU mark of 4570.)

You'll see a 5-7% increase in graphical performance if you turn off all XP eye candy.

That sounds about right. My son's Dimension 4700 scores a high 3000'ish mark with same exact card.
