I had aRAID 0 in the 630i I sent back and could not order a similar configuration onmy 730i.

I liked thespeed increase so I would like to add a RAID to this new 730i.

1. I’m thinking RAID 1 this time(for the redundancy) . From what I have read, it gives improved read speed but no increase in write speed.  True?
2. Will I have to reformat or reinstall Windows for a RAID 1…or can I just duplicate the drive?
3. Any tips to adding the new HD? Do I have to slave it? Which of the 3 available HD port do I add it to?
