Thank you for writing to Dell Community Forum.

The Hard drive should be converted to GPT (GUID Partition Table) format and in BIOS the UEFI mode has to be enabled if more than 3TB hard drive should be detected.

Thank you for replay. Unfortunately changing to UEFI did not help.

Maybe I will explain more my case:

I bought Dell Precision T7610 with standard 1TB HD. Which is my main boot disk (I have there Win8 and linux - ubuntu 14.04).

Latter I bought second disk (I am using it as a data storage) - 2TB (SAS-1) - I have not change disk or BIOS setting and it was working OK.

Recently I bought  third disk - now 3TB and I am not able to connect it to the workstation... I can't see it in BIOS even.

Any suggestions?
